| Hallo! Welcome to my Homepage. My name is Meera Chakraborty and I am from India. To be more specific I am from Calcutta-"the City of Joy". I was born and brought up in Calcutta and it is only after my marriage in 1990, I have been living in Germany. Basically a house-wife and a proud mother of two children, I spend my free time with computer. Since my passion is to watch Indian Classical Dance and to sing songs of Rabindranath Tagore, I thought of covering these two aspects in my Homepage specially for my German friends and viewers and therefore a major part of it is written in German. I put some poems of Tagore from his Nobel-prizewinning book "Gitanjali" in English as well. Don´t forget to see the links to India.
